Wow, I have my own blog. I am so excited to have somewhere to post my random thoughts.

I am currently plotting my first erotic romance book and it is so exciting. It is about a couple from rival scottish american clans with different paranormal abilities that are destined to become mates. Since I plan to sell this as an erotic romance, it has to have a lot of sex in it. So, I decided to write those first and see what I thought. Well, when I got done I was fanning myself from the heat and wishing I could tackle my husband right then and there. This is going to be fun!

I have just returned from my first Romantic Times Book Lovers convention and what can I say except WOW! Workshops to learn from during the day and wild and fun costume parties every night. Not to mention the 100’s of authors there that I was in total awe of. I had lunch with Mary Janice Davidson (what a hoot she is), spoke a lot with Christine Feehan, and really got to know Charlotte Hubbard (who we have dubbed our Aunt Charlotte).

I made some incredible friends in my aspriring authors course and we had such a great time together. From that group I have found my writer’s critique group with 3 of the best and entertaining ladies you could meet. I feel really lucky to have found them.
