Believe it or not I am almost done with the first draft of my book. In the last three months of writing I have learned an incredible amount of information and continue to do so daily.

For about two weeks or so I have been struggling with the final scenes with the villains in my book and it has been so painful. Things ended up quite a bit differently than I had orginally expected. But even still those last few scenes did not want to come out. Yesterday I managed, after staring at the blinking cursor for hours, to get them written. They are OK. Hopefully editing them won’t be quite as painful.

Now all I have left is the last chapter wrap up of the romance between my heroine and hero. The last of their internal conflicts must be dealt with. And of course I intend to finish it off with one last SUPER HOT sex scene.

As soon as I am done I plan to put it away for a little while. Just long enough for me to write a short story that I want to submit to a certain high profile epub by the end of September.
