With two new releases this month, these last couple of days have been consumed by the day job and prepping for promotion. What goes into that kind of preparation you might wonder. Here is a list of what I have been doing to prepare for the big day.

Write and submit several guest blogs on various topics
Crafted emails for promotional loops
Prepared a minimum of three excerpts for sharing
Mapped out website updates for the big day. (most of those changes get made on the actual day so buy links are available)
Set up MySpace messages to go out.
Created the monthly newsletter with announcements for the mailing list
Scheduled chat parties
Set up ads to run on MySpace

And that was just the last minute stuff. Earlier in the month, I designed and ordered promotional materials, set up various ads to run on the internet and forgot to redesign the myspace. Oops. *g*

What else have I forgotten? Hmmm. I’m sure i’ll figure that out soon.
