This month has gotten away from me and I still have a lot to do before I can fully focus on the pretty new words I want to write in November for NaNo.

I have one manuscript that needs editing. Will have to do 2 chapters per day to get that done. (fantasy)

I have a shortie to finish and that probably needs about 3-4k more. So 1k a day to finish. (contemp)

Proofs that must be read today. Do that first. (contemp)

I have two manuscripts that need to be a little longer. Might be able to use those new words in Nov. so will put those at the end of this weeks list just in case. (both paranormal)

I know i’m forgetting something which is exactly why I like to make lists.

As for NaNo i’m not starting something completely new until a couple of other projects are finally completed. But one of them needs about 35K more so it will keep me busy. I think the word count of NaNo should give me the challenge I need. After that story there are plenty more behind it that need finishing. Guess that will be my mantra this year for Nano.

Finish what you started.

I know i’m not following the exact NaNo plan but it would be nice to get the unfinished stories done by the end of the year. It’s a decent goal.

Is the life of an author as glamorous as you thought it would be? *smiles*
