As of Noon today I have finally finished my commitment to read 10 books from my HUGE TBR pile. (I’ll do a blog post this week to highlight what I’ve read and what’s next for me in regards to reading.)
So, what does this mean? I finally get to buy books after two dry months! Wheeeee!
Since today is the last day of the ARe’s 28 Days of Heart campaign, I want to purchase some of these books first. I love that so many authors donated stories so that all proceeds could go to the American Heart Association. Since heart disease has directly affected my family I hated that I didn’t have time to write something to give as well.
While I am eyeing all the many great choices, I’d love to hear what readers out there have purchased and read. Do you have a favorite? Did you read them all? Which ones do you want to read?
If you haven’t had a chance to look through the 28 Day books you can find them all here.
For anyone who leaves a comment on this post I will choose a random winner to receive their choice of one of the 28 Days of Heart eBooks.

I read 9 ebooks and 8 paperbacks this month. My favorite ebook was Hunter Kiss by Marjorie Liu, and my favorite paperback was Archangel’s Kiss by Nalini Singh. The next three books I will be reading are Kindred in Death by J.D. Robb; Blood Magic by Eileen Wilks; and Playing With Fire by Gena Showalter. The last two books I bought was Shift by Rachel Vincent and Defeat The Darkness by Alexis Morgan.
I havent read much this month. I read the first 4books in the midnight breed series my Lara Adrian. I am probably going to finish the rest of this series before I start anything else. The only thing I have bought recently is a box – o – books. This one I’m Excited to get. Its a box of 25 used romance books for $12.95 But i have no idea what I’m getting till it gets here! Its almost like Christmas!!!
JoJo
Wow Elaine, you’ve read quite a few great books lately! Rock on.
JoJo That is cool waiting for a box of unknown books. And I really think I need to try the Midnight Breed series. Keep hearing about it.
My family like yours, Eliza, has a history of Heart Disease. I have not read a book in a while because right now I am going to school to become an RN. I work with Heart patients in the hospital and hope to complete my degree in 2012. It would be awsome if I could get a book. Something that is not a text book. LOL
