First I want to say thank you to Eliza, for inviting me to be here! This is my first guest blog!
I love Halloween. It my favorite time of the year, Christmas not so much, always going broke with two boys. The toys get much more expensive the older they get. Halloween is the one time of year, I can act out my imagination without getting weird looks. We always hold a big Halloween party every year. It is so much fun. I love seeing my friends letting loose and getting into the spooky spirit.
Now, I will introduce myself. I am Tricia Schmitt aka. Pickyme. I am an all digital freelance artist, specializing in Cover Art and author promotional art. My passion is character portraits. I truly love to put a face to characters we as readers fall in love with. When I read a book, it just speaks to me and I see the character in my head… and then he or she has to get out. I have been an artist for years, and just recently started to focus my attention on Cover Art. I truly love it. I get that squeee moment every time I see one of my covers floating around. I feel honored to be able to be part of the reading nation.
I am self taught. My style is different than a lot of other artist. What I do is a mix between photo-manipulation and digital painting. I am stickler when it comes to lighting and details. I want your eyes to flow with the picture and be as pleasing as possible. I do a lot of male art, which is my favorite of course! We all like a little ab action now and then! Not too many artist focus on the male body. It is a tough job, but hey someone has to do it! 
Other than that, I really am at heart, a fan. I am a huge reader, paranormal romance it my favorite genre. I like to connect with other fans as well. I normally make a free wallpaper and post it on my FaceBook page every Friday. Never know what will come out of my head. It is fun to get feedback, from the people who actually buy the books. The sweet little pink fairy has replaced Vishous, for the time being. And I’m actually thinking it might be time to go back to Jimmy and Vamp. So many cool pictures, it’s tough to choose. LOL
